Video of the Week Dynamic Goddess Pose


In this dynamic pose, you move  between Starfish Pose and Goddess Pose. This provides a good stretch for your hips while strengthening your legs, shoulders, and arms. (Dynamic Goddess Pose is also part of a longer vinyasa called the Moon Salutation.)

Video of the Week Reclined Hand to Foot Pose Supta Padangusthasana


We have two videos today, demonstrating versions 1 and 2 of Supta Padangusthasana, which Baxter likes to call Strap to Foot pose. This is an excellent pose for starting a yoga practice, as it warms up hips and legs. It's also a good pose to practice after taking a walk, riding a bike, or any activity that makes your legs feel stiff, and for some people, it can help relieve low back pain.
